My name is Frank Connell, and I’m the Majority Owner and Chief Financial Officer of FAS Roofing. I was born in New York and moved to Florida at age 12 after my mother was diagnosed with cancer — a formative experience that taught me resilience, responsibility, and the value of hard work.

After graduating from Crystal River High School, I earned my Business degree from the University of Florida. I started my first company at 25 years old and have since gone on to own and operate multiple successful businesses throughout Florida. 

At FAS Roofing, I oversee financial operations and strategic planning, ensuring we deliver the reliable, high-quality service our customers deserve.

I bring a strong work ethic and leadership mindset to everything I do — qualities developed over more than 20 years as a professional athlete and honed further through my ongoing role as a collegiate football official. Officiating at the college level requires intense focus, discipline, and accountability — the same traits I expect from our team and bring to every project we take on.

Though I don’t come from a traditional construction background, I’ve built FAS Roofing on a foundation of integrity, expert partnerships, and a passion for doing things the right way. Our team of skilled professionals treats every home like it’s our own, and we’re proud to serve the communities where we live and work.

Shane is all about structure and organization. Through general oversight, his focus is to bring your job to completion on time and within budget. Shane has his eyes on the detail with an extensive background.

Peterson, who has lived in Citrus County for 41 years and graduated from Lecanto High School, started his career at 19 years old working for Duke Energy in the Carolinas, where he received his journeyman license for building/construction at the age of 23. He then worked as a supervisor for them for six years after that. He also has experience as a maintenance director for assisted living facilities in Citrus County. In addition, he has 30 years as a regional director for commercial rebuilds and remodels from Florida to New York.

Who I Am & What I Believe

I’m Leland Cromwell, a stakeholder and leader at FAS Roofing, bringing over 35 years of experience in roofing production, sales, and operational leadership to the table. In this business, I wear many hats, but my sole focus is customer satisfaction. Every decision I make is guided by honesty, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right.

What I Bring to the Team

I lead by example, setting the standard for quality and professionalism on every project. My experience allows me to anticipate challenges, create solutions, and keep jobs running smoothly. I believe that accountability isn’t a slogan—it’s a way of doing business. If I give my word, I keep it.

Why Knowledge Matters

I believe that knowledge is power, and sharing that knowledge is the key to building trust. Too many homeowners feel lost when it comes to roofing decisions, and my goal is to change that. I’m Stephanie Moore, a lifelong resident of Citrus County, Florida, with 25 years in the medical field, including over 17 years as a paramedic serving both locally and around the world. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, I traveled globally to help those in crisis because caring for others is who I am at my core.

In 2022, I became a licensed Realtor, where I developed strong skills in detail management and client communication. Today, I bring that same level of professionalism and compassion to FAS Roofing, where I manage the office and ensure everything runs smoothly. From handling estimates and repair requests to permits, warranties, and first impressions, I make sure no detail is overlooked so our team can focus on delivering excellence.

If Leland is the doctor, then I’m the nurse—the one ensuring every part of the process is supported, whether it’s assisting Leland with operations, Frank with financial details, or Shane with logistics. My role is to keep everything connected so that the entire team can perform at its best and every customer feels confident from the first call to the final walkthrough.

My name is Anthony Sampson, and I’m proud to be a lifelong resident of Citrus County, Florida—known to many as “one of the locals.” I was born and raised here, and serving my community through honest, hard work is something I value deeply.

I bring 13 years of roofing experience, specializing in shingle and metal roofs, and I’ve built a reputation for being a self-motivator, a problem solver, and a true professional. In 2024, I also tapped into my entrepreneurial spirit and co-founded DRD Gunworks, a firearm repair company, proving my ability to adapt, improvise, and overcome challenges in any industry.

At FAS Roofing, I am your point of contact once your project reaches the installation stage. I ensure clear communication, quality workmanship, safety, and compliance with building codes—while keeping job sites clean and organized. My role is to make sure your roof is installed the right way, the first time.

But I don’t do it alone—it takes a team. Leland drives operations and keeps the big picture in focus. Stephanie manages the details and first impressions that keep everything on track. Frank ensures financial stability, and Shane keeps logistics flowing. My job is to bring it all together at the final stage so your home gets the care it deserves.
